Welcome to Photo 3! This class is meant to help you start developing your ideation in photography, and challenge what you thought you knew about photography.
Welcome to Photography 3
Welcome to Photo 3! By now, I'm guessing we know each other, so we'll just do a mini icebreaker and move on to some house keeping items.
Remember, the class syllabus is due by the end of the first full week of the term. Students will not be able to check-out photography equipment until the syllabus is returned with signatures of the student and their legal guardian.
Let's Get Started
To be successful in Photo 3, you'll need to learn your way around the website and to set up a Google portfolio on the Google site. Remember to be logged into your school Google account, and ask questions if you are lost!
For grading, my hope is that you always try your best, take risks, be curious, and explore the art medium of photography. We'll take a look at an example class rubric, so you can know what to expect for your projects.
Check out the video to the side! It's a great exercise to get back into photography. You'll need to problem solve and refine your skills, to get back into the groove!
We'll form a line, and take turns taking photos of an everyday, ordinary object. Remember, you can't duplicate someone who has gone before you! Then, we'll put all the photos on Padlet and vote for the most creative one!
